Qualifications

• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients needing emergency assistance to registration and evaluation.
• Handle Physician and Nurse requests promptly and professionally.
• Explain billing policies including insurable and non-insurable charges.
• Register patients accurately and provide compassionate service.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements as requested.
• Collect payments and issue receipts for visits and services.
• Discharge patients and process incurred charges.
• Perform cash management duties and balance at shift end.
• Receive, send, and distribute correspondence as directed.
• File and scan medical documents and forms.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in maintenance tasks.
• Provide positive, warm, and friendly service in all interactions.
