Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Receptionist to ensure a smooth front-office experience for patients. The role includes greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, handling registrations, and processing payments in a busy medical environment.

The receptionist will work with the Business Office Manager, maintain a tidy lobby, and coordinate with clinical departments to support patient care and administrative workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ medical clerical experience.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with basic computer software used in medical offices.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and communicating with patients and visitors upon arrival at our facility.
• Register patients by verifying identity, demographics and insurance information.
• Review registration paperwork and scan to HST.
• Scan patient identification and insurance cards to HST.
• Accept and record patient cost share payments.
• Verify vendor and visitor sign in.
• Communicate with other areas of the business office and clinical departments.
• Maintain clean and tidy lobby area.
• Perform other duties as required by the Business Office Manager.
