Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Germantown, MD is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk check-in/out and create a personalized patient experience. No optical experience? Training and tools will be provided to learn the industry and deliver best-in-class care.

This role reports to the Office General Manager and may require weekend/evening shifts. You will verify insurance, confirm appointments, answer calls, greet patients, and support office staff to ensure a seamless visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk, reception or customer-facing role supporting administrative duties.
• Organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best-in-class service.
• Friendly, patient-centric and flexible with ability to wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify options for patients.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments and support staff.
• Cross-train to other office support roles as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure seamless patient experience.
