VillageMD seeks a Patient Service Representative in New Jersey to join a physician-led, patient-centric network. You will greet patients, manage registration, handle calls, and update records in the EHR while ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and basic medical office knowledge. Travel to satellite offices may be needed; competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and related office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients, and families in a friendly professional manner.
• Maintain efficient patient flow during registration and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls appropriately.
• Update patient information and demographics in the EHR.
• Process self-pay charges, collect payments, and reconcile daily payments.
• Schedule appointments per guidelines and confirm future visits.
• Assist with insurance verifications, referrals, and pre-authorizations.
• Support patient outreach and portal enrollment.
