Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology preferred.
• Basic proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR/PM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and directs them appropriately to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Handles registration, cash collection, payments, and reconciles daily totals.
• Verifies insurance, updates patient data and demographic information.
• Schedules appointments and enters orders for tests and procedures.
• Coordinates with clinical staff for pre-authorizations and referrals.
