Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support customers, manage equipment deliveries, and educate patients on device use and care. You will verify insurance coverages, explain financial responsibilities, and ensure timely, accurate delivery and setup of equipment in hospital and home settings.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and coordination with healthcare providers, while promoting AdaptHealth services and maintaining patient satisfaction across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of work related to health care, administrative, insurance, or customer services, or management.
• DME, diabetes, incontinence sales experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support for equipment delivery in hospital and community settings.
• Deliver and teach patients how to use equipment; verify insurance benefits.
• Explain patient financial responsibilities and collect payments using electronic tools.
• Coordinate with referrals and hospital staff to ensure timely delivery and setup.
• Promote services during rounds and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
