Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Grants Pass Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our team, providing general office support and clerical tasks that keep the clinic running smoothly.

You will greet patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and assist with patient records while supported by a collaborative care team in a bustling outpatient PT setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Answer the phone and route calls accordingly.
• Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments.
• Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots.
• Collect co-payments and patient insurance and privacy forms.
• Compile and record medical charts, reports and correspondence.
• Educate patients about their insurance and PT treatment plans.
• Assist with PT aide duties when applicable.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
