Qualifications

• Typically has 1–2 years of administrative experience with at least one year providing admin support.
• Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.
• Effective verbal communication to handle inquiries and calls.
• Effective written communication to document situations and confirm agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to ask relevant questions to identify customer needs.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to listen, process transactions, and interact with customers simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient satisfaction by greeting patients and completing check-in/check-out.
• Document patient information, update records, and collect payments.
• Answer and triage patient correspondences via phone, email, and fax.
• Maintain patient records with security and confidentiality.
• Coordinate scheduling to maintain patient flow and prepare charts.
• Perform confidential administrative tasks and transmit information externally.
• Keep front desk organized and handle related duties.
• Cross-train in departments and work on special projects as assigned.
