Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support multi-site clinics in the Knoxville area. You’ll greet patients, handle phone calls, verify benefits, and guide first visits with empathy and efficiency.

In this front desk role you’ll use Word and Excel, manage referrals, collect co-pays, and keep the clinic welcoming and organized. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, healthcare office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization and time management.
• Reliable and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
• Preferred healthcare office experience; Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport in person and by phone.
• Screen and answer calls, take messages and relay information.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain financial responsibilities.
• Manage referrals and prescriptions; communicate visit expectations.
• Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
• Collect co-pays; balance daily receipts; submit charges.
• Maintain clean, welcoming clinic environment; sanitize per CDC.
