Job summary

Physicians Care Dayton is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to greet patients, manage front-desk activities, and support clinical staff. This role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at the front desk and guide them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, manage faxing, scanning and daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, support clinical staff and close the office after shifts.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances.
• Maintain a neat, professional reception area and follow safety procedures.
