Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Patient Service Representative to support front desk operations in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. You will check in/out patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, collect copays, and maintain EMR records with accuracy.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume medical setting, communicate professionally with patients and providers, and multitask across phones, scheduling, and documentation. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience required.
• Experience in medical front desk, scheduling, insurance verification, or outpatient workflows is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-service orientation essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, answer phones, and assist with scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays/balances.
• Manage EMR scheduling and patient documentation.
• Support clinic flow and communication between providers and patients.
• De-escalate scheduling or patient concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk environment.
