This role involves greeting patients, checking them in, and ensuring accurate insurance documentation while maintaining a tidy waiting area. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of medical office experience and customer service knowledge. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' medical office experience, preferably in a surgical practice.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare & Medicaid.
• Proficiency in computer software use, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile and a positive attitude.
• Check-in all patients by obtaining accurate and up-to-date demographic and insurance information.
• Assist with telephone coverage, as needed.
• Maintain an accurate cash box, including end-of-day balancing.
• Keep front desk check-in/check-out desk clean and neat.
