Job summary

Colorado Urology is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to deliver superb patient and staff service and provide office support with minimal supervision. You will create a welcoming first impression, manage appointments, collect payments, and ensure accurate patient records in Practice Management and the EHR.

The role requires at least two years of front office experience, strong customer service skills, and comfort with HIPAA and multitasking in a fast-paced medical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of front office experience, preferably in medical setting.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional first impression of the practice.
• Schedule appointments and assist with tests as directed by physicians.
• Ensure all patient paperwork is ready for that day’s appointments.
• Collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter into Practice Management.
• Enter patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR.
• Scan driver’s license and insurance cards into Ntierprise.
• Obtain and scan referrals, link to day’s appointments in PM.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and report to Site Manager.
• Schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate local ASC cases.
• Assist patients with Phreesia registration.
• Willingness to travel to other sites within a reasonable region.
