Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist for our Arlington Heights location. The role greets patients and visitors, registers new patients, and schedules appointments for providers and services within a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The position requires strong customer service skills, clerical proficiency, and basic knowledge of medical terminology. Travel to other locations may be required; flexible hours support operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors and directs them to the appropriate department.
• Registers new patients and schedules appointments for providers and services.
• Reschedules appointments and follows up on cancelled and missed appointments.
• Collects co-pays and balances and follows up on appointments as necessary.
• Answers telephone calls and relays messages per protocol.
• Maintains neat waiting areas and performs general clerical duties.
