Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist to greet patients, manage appointments, and handle front-desk duties at our Arlington Heights location. This full-time role runs Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm with occasional travel to other sites. Flexible hours may be required to meet operational needs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service experience, and basic computer skills. Medical terminology knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience or interaction with the public.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets incoming patients and visitors with hospitable customer service and directs them to appropriate departments.
• Receives and forwards calls and relays messages per protocol.
• Registers new patients and schedules or reschedules appointments.
• Collects co-pays and balances and sets follow-up appointments as needed.
• Responds to patient questions per organization policies and procedures.
• Assists with medical records and clinical personnel as needed.
• Maintains neat, professional work and waiting areas.
