Job summary

Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS) is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, check them in, and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure a smooth imaging experience.

You will use Microsoft Office and EHR systems, maintain patient data, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver an outstanding patient journey. This role requires a patient, empathetic individual with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training in customer service preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
• Friendly, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Availability for night and weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with check-ins, payments, and appointment confirmations.
• Communicate with referring physician offices to coordinate care and clarify orders.
• Answer patient questions and provide clear information about imaging procedures.
• Maintain and update patient information accurately inEHR and scheduling systems.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and an outstanding experience.
• Uphold IHS standards of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
