Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

You will collaborate with the Clinic Manager and PES, manage scheduling, payments, EMR usage, and communications with referral sources, requiring strong customer service, MS Office proficiency, and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
• Experience requesting and managing customer payments preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver front-office experience with positive interactions
• Complete patient intake, demographic verification, and insurance eligibility
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvement
