Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator I for our Frankfort office. The role focuses on patient-centered front desk operations, accurate registration, scheduling, and professional patient interactions to ensure a positive experience.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year in customer service (medical office preferred), and familiarity with Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service role (medical office experience preferred).
• Knowledge in medical terminology preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments.
• Ability to handle highly confidential, sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to IBJI with high-quality customer service.
• Prepare paperwork to facilitate efficient operation and service.
• Answer general inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Phone reception, patient triage, and escalation to staff.
• Registration/pre-registration and insurance verification as needed.
• Check in/out procedures and patient chart management.
• Handle patient payments and coordination of referrals as required.
