Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience in a busy outpatient setting. You will support revenue cycle performance and data integrity while collaborating with clinic teams and PES.

As the primary point of contact, you will educate patients on financial responsibilities, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling to optimize access.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, registration, eligibility and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
