Athletico Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager, collaborates with clinical teams, and receives support from the Patient Experience Specialist. Full-time employment includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and dashboards.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance workflows.
• Familiar with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
• English reading/writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience, greeting patients warmly and resolving issues.
• Accurately complete patient intake/registration, verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR, dashboards, and reporting tools for data accuracy and improvement.
• Communicate patient progress notes and care plans to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community activities with clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training for front-office operations.
