Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our front desk team. You will guide patients through check-in and check-out, verify insurance options, and support appointment confirmations with a focus on a personalized, best-in-class patient experience.

No optical experience is required; training and tools will be provided. The role requires teamwork, great communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Some weekend and evening shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify and educate patients on options.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments and assist staff as needed.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
