Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred, Front desk practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience.
• Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment; work cohesively on a team or independently.
• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and front desk activities with accuracy.
• Encourage patient use of front-end technology during registration.
• Enter and maintain patient information including insurance, billing, and payments; assist billing as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency response codes and applicable regulations.
• Monitor inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency supplies.
