Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Lodi, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front office operations, including patient scheduling, reception, medical records, and clinic statistics.

The role requires excellent customer service and strong communication, with multi-tasking abilities and basic computer skills; it is full-time, Monday–Friday with a Wednesday late shift, and offers mentorship, PTO, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and internal mobility

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in medical office setting that required multi-tasking preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers skills including but not limited to keyboard familiarity and word processing, office procedures, filing, verbal and written communication skills, fax, photocopy required.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff members, supportive personnel, patients, physicians and community members required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest level of customer service to patients and referrals through front office coordination.
• Manages patient scheduling, reception duties, and medical record preparation.
• Collects, reconciles and prepares daily deposits and maintains clinic statistics and reports.
