Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our Montgomery/Somerset SPLIT location. This role supports front office activities, patient scheduling, and medical record preparation, with shifts Monday–Friday, including evenings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years in medical office setting preferred.
Knowledge of health insurance preferred.
Basic computer and office skills required.
Strong customer service and communication with staff, patients and physicians.
Must be available early mornings and evenings Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

Provides front office coordination and ensures top customer service to patients, staff and referrals.
Handles patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record preparation, clinic statistics and report compilation.
Obtains and tracks authorizations; collects and reconciles daily deposits for over-the-counter cash.
Exhibits exceptional communication skills.
