Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred in related field such as healthcare or core sciences.
• Previous outpatient medical setting experience preferred, physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, physicians, and other visitors when they arrive.
• Manage and facilitate patient scheduling, intake, and check-in processes, including answering general patient insurance and benefits questions.
• Collect patient co-pays.
• Make outbound phone calls to assist with scheduling of new and existing patients to allow for access to care.
• Answer inbound calls from the Access Management Team and partner to get patients scheduled to assist with patient plan of care adherence.
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
