Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk check-in/out and deliver a personalized patient experience. You will learn about insurance options, verify coverage, and support appointment confirmations in a fast-paced vision care setting.

This role requires weekend/evening shifts at times, training provided, and a team-oriented environment where you collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Front desk or customer-facing experience in a medical or service setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Proficient in computer use and written communication.
• Willingness to learn insurance basics and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check-in/out experience with a seamless process.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options during check-in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and patient outreach in coordination with Doctor availability.
• Multitask by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients, scheduling, and supporting office staff.
• May cross-train to roles such as Eyewear Consultants or Optometric Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
