Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to lead front-desk patient interactions, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and relay insurance information accurately. The PCC will support therapists by handling administrative duties and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing multi-line phone systems, assisting with insurance authorizations, and explaining benefits and payment terms while maintaining compliance with company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, vendors and visitors of the clinic.
• Schedules appointments and manages the front desk flow.
• Collects co-pays and verifies insurance benefit information for patients.
• Provides authorization details and information to patients.
• Assists therapists with administrative tasks and documents conversations for future reference.
• Explains benefit details, copays, and deductibles to patients.

Education
