Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to lead the patient experience and drive administrative excellence in the clinic. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and relay insurance details while supporting therapists and maintaining patient records.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience; an Associate degree in healthcare administration is preferred. This role is based in our Seekonk, MA clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the clinic.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars.
• Collect co-pays and relay insurance benefit information.
• Provide authorization details to patients.
• Relieve clinical staff of administrative and clerical duties.
• Maintain patient charts and process paperwork for first appointment.
• Review schedules and fill openings via medical records system.
• Explain benefit details, copays, and deductibles to patients.
• Assist therapists with faxing patient information.
