Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our clinical team and drive exceptional patient experiences. You will greet patients, manage appointments, collect co-pays, and relay insurance benefits clearly to patients, supporting therapists with administrative tasks.

The PCC will handle patient documentation, payment processing, and utilization of the medical records system to ensure smooth daily operations. We value teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect co-pays.
• Relay insurance benefits information and authorization details to patients.
• Assist therapists with documentation and administrative tasks.
• Maintain patient charts and records for first appointments.
• Explain benefit details and authorization requirements to patients.
• Manage payments and document receipts.
• Review schedules to fill openings and coordinate with clinical staff.
