Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or medical office/medical assistant degree, or 2+ years relevant experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and callers.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments; manage phone system.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect payments, balances and copays; assist with payment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in EHR documentation.
• Escalate concerns and support office operations as needed.
