Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator at our Stamford location. You will greet patients, register them, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records to ensure a smooth visit experience.

You will schedule appointments, answer inquiries, manage high call volumes, and support clinical operations with a patient-centered approach. Epic experience and a commitment to privacy are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience in a medical office.
• Epic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer routine questions, register patients, and maintain records.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule appointments with timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate access.
• Manage high call volumes and follow Standard Work to ensure efficient patient experience.
• Collect co-payments and explain office payment policies to patients.
