AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a patient-focused team member for full-time, day-shift operations. You will enhance the patient experience by coordinating appointments, confirming insurance, and guiding patients through check-in and payments.

Responsibilities include vitals, referrals, room readiness, and equipment disinfection. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required, with EMT/CNA/CPT preferred. Join a mission-driven facility serving the community.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Clear English reading, writing, speaking and comprehension required.
• Ability to operate a computer, copier, fax, and scanner.
• Ability to establish and maintain relations with patients and staff.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive patient experience by managing appointments and reminders.
• Verify eligibility and insurance prior to appointments.
• Complete check-in, collect copays and balances.
• Maintain patient flow and respond to calls promptly.
• Perform vitals, document allergies, screenings and vitals after competency validation.
• Assist with scheduling, prior authorizations, referrals; disinfect exam rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure policy-compliant procedures.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality controls on waived tests.
