Responsibilities

Create and register patient records in the EMR, ensuring accurate demographics and insurance data.
Collect co-pays and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
Explain insurance coverage options and guide patients to Financial Advocates when needed.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of confidential information and verify patient identities.
Answer phones, assist patients in person, and coordinate transportation or interpreter services as needed.
Monitor and manage electronic health record work queues following department processes.
