Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patient appointments and provide information as needed.
• Process phone, fax, email, and other communications promptly and accurately.
• Assist patients with introductions to services and provider availability.
• Update patients on referral or authorization status.
• Answer and screen high volumes of calls, directing to providers as appropriate.
• Follow phone scripts and scheduling criteria to determine appointment types and urgency.
• Communicate complex pre-procedure instructions to patients and ordering physicians.
