Job summary

Responsibilities include triage calls, scheduling, billing support, and training patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass to improve access and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Knowledge of PC window applications to input and retrieve data.
• Experience with customer service and conflict resolution.
• Ability to perform basic math to process insurance co-pays.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for sensitive patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive, and “Patients First” experience for all patients and visitors.
• Assist in front-desk operations including patient registration, visit prep, co-pay collection, and record tracking.
• Verify insurance and accurately enter billing and payment information.
• Screen and schedule interpreter services as needed.
• Conduct telephone triage and relay staff messages; generate provider reschedules.
• Support billing functions while adhering to quality and productivity standards.
• Educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass; train on front-end tools.
