Responsibilities

• Escort patients and visitors to required areas as needed.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and transfer to appropriate departments.
• Maintain communication with unit staff and notify staff at destination of patient arrival.
• Enforce visitor policies and communicate safety procedures.
• Provide information about hospital amenities and guest services.
