Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Greeter for the Main Lobby area to warmly welcome patients and visitors at the hospital entrance. You will assist with check-in, provide directions, and help guests navigate the facility.

In this full-time night shift (EOW), you will coordinate with security and staff, ensure visitor policies are followed, and help maintain a positive, customer-service oriented environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors upon arrival at the hospital entrance, providing a welcoming first impression.
• Completes the standard check-in procedure for patients and visitors.
• Assists in wayfinding and provides maps to patients and visitors.
• Escorts patients and visitors to the necessary areas as needed.
• Answers telephone promptly and courteously and transfers to other departments as needed.
