Job summary

VillageMD seeks a Patient Reception Specialist to support patients and deliver an exceptional experience. You will greet patients, collect documents, verify insurance details, and prepare them for their visit with clear information about services.

Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, reconciling balances, scheduling appointments, and accurately entering data in EMR and Outlook. Familiarity with medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance practices.
• Ability to use Outlook and EMR systems for daily tasks.
• Basic arithmetic and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and prepare them for visits.
• Collect documents, verify insurance, and explain services.
