Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Concierge to act as a passionate patient advocate and deliver an exceptional patient experience while facilitating practice-based administrative and patient support services.

The role includes greeting patients, assisting with check-in/check-out, scheduling, MyChart education, and responding to inquiries, with emphasis on compassionate, compliant service and teamwork within the care group.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year practice-based experience or healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and empathy in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients politely and compassionately during all interactions.
• Performs clerical tasks: check-in/check-out, consent, registration, and scheduling.
• Provides waiting room concierge service and assists with kiosk check-in.
• Supports opening/closing, mail processing, cash handling and fax indexing.
• Assists team members by addressing in-basket messages and coordinating with Access Center.
• Works with Access Center to handle time-sensitive scheduling requests.
• Connects patients with care team for time-sensitive clinical inquiries.
• Maintains a patient-centric, solution-oriented mindset.
