Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Concierge to act as a passionate patient advocate, ensuring a unique and exceptional patient experience within the cardiovascular practice.

The role involves greeting patients, check-in/check-out, scheduling, MyChart education, and handling routine inquiries with empathy. The position emphasizes team collaboration, attention to compliance, and a patient-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One year practice-based experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all practice-based patient interactions.
• Performs clerical service delivery functions with patients, including check-in, check-out, pre-registration and real-time eligibility verification, registration, MyChart education, appointment/testing scheduling at check-out, cash handling, and addressing patient inquiries.
• Delivers waiting room concierge service and provides hands-on support to patients using the kiosk check-in process.
• Facilitates practice opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, mail processing, cash reconciliation, and scanning faxes.
• Supports other team members by promptly addressing in-basket messages.
• Partners with Access Center Patient Engagement to address time-sensitive scheduling requests.
• Facilitates connection from Access Center Clinical Triage Specialists to care team for time-sensitive clinical inquiries.
• Maintains solution-oriented mindset to anticipate and tend to patient needs across departments.
