Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator for our Dallas area clinic to create a warm, inclusive environment and deliver a high-touch patient experience. You will be the face of the clinic, handling check-ins, co-pays, forms, and basic admin tasks.

You will manage appointments in the EMR, answer calls, and coordinate with the broader team to ensure smooth operations. Fluency in multiple languages and strong customer service are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist patients with required forms.
• Collect co-pays and update patient information.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in the EMR system.
• Answer and route phone calls; manage outbound calls.
• Handle faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
