Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Patient Ambassador to ensure a positive, comforting experience for patients and families. You will register patients, collect demographic information, and coordinate with physicians and staff to support ancillary operations.

The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality under HIPAA, and a welcoming demeanor. You may move between areas to assist as needed, supporting diversity and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare or 2 years of comparable experience in customer service.
• Ability to speak Spanish is desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to resolve problems and respond to complaints positively and productively.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors warmly and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Complete computer-aided registration with patients professionally and courteously.
• Collect demographic and insurance information and update systems accordingly.
• Act as liaison between patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, and the hospital.
• Protect PHI and ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications.
