Job summary

Claremedica Health Partners LLC in Miami is seeking a Patient Care Concierge to be the first point of contact and a key member of our healthcare team. You will provide exceptional customer service, greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist with front-office operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills, with preferred experience in a medical clinic and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service.
• BLS preferred.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, patients and others.
• Problem-solving mindset focused on patient service and team goals.
• Knowledge of medical products, terminology, services, standards, policies and procedures.
• Calm under pressure in busy environments.
• Strong listening skills and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% locally/regionally as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; type at least 40 WPM.
• Basic phone and computer operation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Detail-oriented with accurate reporting and data handling.
• Fluent reading/writing in English; bilingual a plus.
• Healthcare and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors courteously in person and on the phone.
• Greet every guest entering the center and assist with check-in.
• Prepare new patient registration and process check-out and payments.
• Manage Provider schedules and confirm appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect copays.
• Consolidate daily financials and reconcile cash at end of day.
• Send telephone encounter notes to the appropriate parties.
• Scan insurance cards, lab orders, and documents into the EMR.
• Maintain front office and lobby space; restock supplies as needed.
• Support daily huddles and coordinate with medical staff for patient care.
