Job summary

You’ll handle phone triage, registration, insurance eligibility, and co-pay collection, while guiding patients through self-service options and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience or an Associate/Bachelor's degree as specified.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer services and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive patient-first experience for patients and visitors.
• Perform patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and co-pay collection.
• Triage calls, assist with scheduling and referrals, and coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Explain patient estimates and help connect patients with financial counseling when appropriate.
• Educate patients on MyChart usage and appointment access, and encourage front-end technology adoption.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and manage staff communications.
• Generate staff/provider schedules and support travel within the region as needed.
