CentroMed seeks a dedicated Customer Service Representative to greet patients, register them in the system, and coordinate data entry to meet program and agency deadlines. The CSR handles intake, scheduling, and frontline assistance in a healthcare environment.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, a high school diploma, and strong clerical skills with basic math. Experience in medical data entry is preferred, with a supportive team culture and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General experience in a health care setting; experience with medical data entry preferred.
• Strong clerical skills and basic math; computer knowledge and calculator use.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patients; enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs.
• Determine patient eligibility for participation in special programs.
• Assist patients and visitors, answer phones, and identify clinic.
• Verify current insurance status using TMHP and Availity.
• Schedule patient appointments per protocols; maintain encounter entries and logs.
• Follow up on no-shows and maintain professionalism.
