Job summary

CentroMed, a nonprofit FQHC serving San Antonio and surrounding areas, seeks a Customer Service Representative to welcome patients, register them, and coordinate encounter data entry.

The CSR handles billing and collections, verifies insurance, and supports program eligibility; bilingual English/Spanish is required. A high school diploma is required, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General healthcare experience; medical data entry preferred.
• Strong clerical skills, keyboarding, basic math; calculator proficiency.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; attention to detail for audits.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and coordinate encounter data entry.
• Assist with billing, collections, and financial reviews.
• Answer phones and direct patients to appropriate services.
• Maintain accuracy of patient demographic and financial information.
