Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to welcome patients, register them for services, and ensure a positive experience at the San Antonio clinics. The CSR coordinates data entry, processes financial reviews, and supports reporting for compliance and quality improvement.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, experience in healthcare, strong clerical skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities to assist diverse patient populations and navigate Medicaid,

Qualifications

• General experience in a health care setting; medical data entry preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including keyboarding and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patients entering the system with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs and reconcile daily balances.
• Schedule patient appointments per established protocols and follow up on no-shows.
• Demonstrate understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and related eligibility programs and verify status.
