Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors, physicians, and associates. You will gather and relay patient location, condition, and progress information while protecting confidentiality and supporting staff communication.

Key duties include greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, escorting guests, and advocating to expedite admissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required).
• Two years in direct service hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional information to visitors/patients and assist with directions.
• Facilitate communication between patient, family and hospital staff.
• Advocate by investigating and expediting admissions and delays.
• Resolve problems and escalate when necessary.
• Greet and assist visitors, escort patients, and assist with wheelchairs when needed.
• Answer multi-line phones and transfer calls to appropriate locations.
• Oversee information desks and lobby cleanliness and order.
