Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to provide outstanding customer service to patients, families and colleagues. The role involves facilitating communication between patients and hospital staff, guiding visitors, and assisting with directions and wheelchair assistance.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in consumer advocacy or a service role. Day shifts include early mornings with weekend coverage, in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.
• Awareness of medical terminology and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Facilitate communication and directions, escort visitors, and assist with wheelchairs.
• Answer multi-line phone and route calls to appropriate locations.
• Investigate concerns, expedite admissions and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintain lobby and information desk cleanliness and order.
