Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists (SMS) is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver high-quality administrative support to staff, patients and physicians across our Florida network. This role links patients with clinical teams, ensuring professional, efficient service and accurate records.

You will manage patient inquiries, scheduling, billing questions, and maintain waiting areas while collaborating with providers to streamline the patient experience. Travel to other centers may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a busy administrative role, medical preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to use clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to staff, patients and Physicians.
• Maintain patient service levels, anticipate needs and respond to feedback.
• Direct patient flow and answer telephone calls promptly.
• Assist with patient billing questions and insurance payments.
• Maintain the integrity of patient records and scheduling.
